WW360 DEC 10TH- 851,678

WWPS3 DEC 10TH- 704,669

Difference: +147,009 for Xbox 360

WW360 DEC 20TH- 766,126

WWPS3 DEC 20TH- 343,886

Difference: +422,240 for Xbox 360

As of Dec 3rd the gap between the Xbox and PS3 was +806,000 in the PS3's favor.

147,009 + 422,240 = 569,249 more 360's sold in the past two weeks.

Which means, 806,000 - 569,249 = 236,751 is the current difference of consoles sold in the PS3's favor. There are still 11 days of sales left in the month to be calculated.

I assume by Dec 20th you mean week ending 12/17 which had numbers just start going up on the 20th. Those numbers are not complete yet. So the difference in 360 favor will shrink. Also believe adjustments for November arent included in your figures. Those increased PS3 lead by about 150K. It is looking like the PS3 will be ahead by about 525K as of Dec 17th.

525k is going to be a tough number to pull and on top of that 50k another 50k needs to be added on (just for the U.S.A.) as I have calculated the November VGC and November NPD numbers just for the PS3. As Xbox 360 sales are perfectly in line with media crate and NPD.

November NPD: 900K

VGC November 2011 4 week sales: 850k (Nov-5th-Nov-26th)

Adjustments based on the November NPD have already been made.  Read this thread they are discussed.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
