Have you played both FFXIII and FFXIII-2?

Have you played either... it isnt in your game collection?

I sold my FFXIII copy because it was boring... the game makes you play 200 hours just to kill giant tortoises... the battle system is the worst I ever played in a FF game.

And played a little of FFXIII-2 tuesday night.

I saw your other post...

I havent been paying much attention to FFXIII-2 stuff..   How is it better/different?

I am still just about interested after finishing FFXIII.  I have to admit FFXIII was very repetitive and didnt really reward for staying with it until the end, so hopefully XIII-2 is better.

I played little to be honest but the game already starts at full swing with more action than 'FFXIII sit and see'... the battle system is more smooth and dinamic (you now have the sensation of control the battle)... there are more paths/options to go in the corridors (gives the impression of being less linear)... there are cities, more NPCs, more thing to do in shops, etc.

The rhythm is accelerated... the action seems more expansive than linear.

The graphics of cutscenes are worst than FFXIII (eg hair is awful) but the gameplay graphics are great like FFXIII (no apparent improvement).

I can't say much more... I played just 2 hours with my friend... the game itself seems to give you more freedom and I liked.

Edit - I played PS3 version of both games (maybe the gaphic part is just because the CGI cutscenes was better).
