Dragon age origins in a seamless world sounds great.
Please steer it closer to Baldur's gate and far away from DA2. (spawning in waves of enemies, just no)
And don't stuff the land full with distractions, make it more about the journey and the party members. Give the characters in your party time to interact with you and each other.
