Vita just needs some big software imo. I expect the superior hardware, online and media functions to help it a long way into the future, just at the moment it hasn't got anything that'll ever post numbers like Mario or Pokemon. It's not a huge problem though - Animal Crossing, Brain Training, Nintendogs etc all came out of nowhere for the DS last gen and Vita could easily have some big software do the same, who knows.
Still not totally sure the Vita's market exists either, seems to be trying to get the COD / FIFA / AC type 360 / PS3 crowd to buy a handheld - it's a big market who buy a lot of software but no ones really sure if they want a dedicated handheld. I'm certainly not sure, but personally I'm sold on the thing so heres hoping...
