I enjoyed the first two Uncharted games, so that's why I picked it up. And because it was only $30. I'm just disappointed they went more on the scripted gameplay route. The first hour was just walking.

Anyways, I played for another hour or so, and wow, the aiming & shooting are horrible. I don't remember them being bad in U2; this is awful.

They added better aiming via a patch. I think you have to activate it in the options.

Thank you Boutros! Now maybe I could start enjoying the game. Wish I knew that before the Chateau and Citadel levels.

@oldschool, who said I wasn't? I'm also playing the Starhawk beta (pretty awesome) and GTAIV (not that great imo).

Anyways, I'm in chapter 12, and I'm just not feeling the game. The Chateau level was kind of cool when it was burning; it added some nice little tension, but the other levels haven't done anything for me.

I also hate that there are too many chases/running-away segments: one when you run away as young drake, two of running away from the spiders, another from the rockets, one when the building is collapsing, another one in the Citadel, and then when you're chasing Talbot or w/e his name is. I just find it boring tilting the left analog stick.

Another issue I have is melee countering. I don't know who's bright idea was it to have the triangle button be both melee countering and picking up ammo/weapons. During the Citadel level, I had to face Brute (the big guy) again, and whenever I wanted to counter, Drake would pick up ammo or another weapon instead. I almost died because of that. And speaking of melee, I really wish they would stop forcing melee on me, since melee isn't good (especially after playing Batman). The fights between Charlie and Talbot were awful, imo, and the market fight wasn't good as well.
