I find it somewhat strange though, the Ipad in theory should be able to handle most, if not all of the improvements from the Xbox version,

Having enough horesepower is only part of the requirement - code suitability to the hardware design also plays a big part.

I'd imagine the design disparity btweeen the original code and iOS/Ipdad HW would be pretty large.  Of course given enough time/money you could re-write all the code from scratch, but normally a balance is struck in terms of effort/results: which is what I think we're seeing here.


Yeah I know, would've been a huge amount of work *even worse than writing from scratch even* but it isn't encouraging though. :)
