There is still an audience for portable gaming platform. Never I would use my phone to game, and im not the only one, 3DS sales are a proof of that. I dont have any hard numbers, but im pretty sure that most of those phone gamers wouldnt purchase a gaming platform anyway. I expect PSP/DS like numbers. |
I personally know only 2 people that bought a 3DS. Both are hardcore gamers persay. One of them sold his already because he enjoyed playing more on his work provided iPad. Anectdotal? For sure. But to think that hardcore gamers aren't likely to make the switch would be quite the hopeful pov versus a realistic one.
