I don't remember the drive through lush forest being gray in the slightest. Also, what about MotorStorm? Did it not have phenominal, if not flawless graphics?

Not flawless by any means but it certainly looked good. I assume you're talking about Pacific Rift?

I think that both the original and Pacific Rift looked better personally. I never saw any jarring technical issues with the graphics in either title, although it would be easier to miss them in a racing game.
