That doesn't sound too far off actually.
It's holiday time and the next 3 weeks will be massive. Let's say they sell those 700k units in two "weeks" of sales data, like 400k / 300k they'd still need a higher shipment a week later because demand peeks the week after christmas in Japan.
Something like 400k / 300k / 350k (depending on the size of the shipment of course) sounds somewhat realistic and would amount to a massive december for japanese standards.
