Cheat.
I was online last night doing a race and nobody ever even passed me. "Wow, I'm good!", I thought.....except I was in 3rd or last, the whole time. So, I went to youtube and typed in "Mario Kart 7" glitches/shortcuts. Some people are exploiting the game for some totally bullshit shortcuts--skipping entire laps.
It was fun while it lasted.
