To horn in on the Mario Kart debate, i have 64 listed at the top of my own, but that's because Kart 64 was the 2nd game i ever owned, and one of the games that got me into gaming in the first place (i was a late bloomer in that regard. Up until age 9 i thought video games were moronic, and then my cousin bought an N64...) so i give it a lot of nostalgia leeway because it looms so large in my own imagination, but it is painfully clear that it is the objectively inferior game compared to those that came after it, though it was the more egregious rubberband AI that always got me, Rol and TwRoo have made good arguments against it as well
Though i disliked Super Mario Kart, from what i played of its tracks in Super Circuit, anyway, but that's also part of my bias from having started with Kart 64...
I dragged NSMBWii down to number 17. Had it a bit further up my list before i reconsidered
