i just had to respond to this. this is just so patently false, its hilarious.

the rupublicans want no such thing, not even close. the rupublicans want lower taxes on everybody. in fact most republicans just signed a pledge not raise taxes on the poor. 

also George bush cut the taxes on the poor.

republicans are the party for the poor, they favor more personal freedom, reducing regulation to help people get hired. so "poor people" can get jobs and money.
