i think Sony overestimated there holiday lineup with R3 being apart of it. i'm sure if they had known R3 was going to perform that bad they would have put LBP2 in the fall lineup as well.

Am I the only one who thinks R3 didn't do that badly? Considering how often people normally rag on that series.

the first 2 sold better in the same timeframe.

That doesn't mean it's a terrible affair.

i know that, i'm just saying as far moving hardware, LBP2 would have done Sony more favors the R3. hey i convinced many vgc members to pick up the game, with the help of Adam Sessler' s soap box with him praising the game to no end.
i expect the game to come close to 2m by end of 2012, but 1m is a sure shot.

Resistance 3 has a very tough mountain to climb. R2 went up against Gears 2 and was a bad game. The image has been greatly damaged. Which is the reason for the numbers that R3 has put up.
On topic however, Sony has a very powerful franchise in LittleBigPlanet. They need to keep pushing this franchise and place Sackboy in more games and even take him outside of gaming.
Sony Pictures should be placing easter eggs of Sackboys in their movies. Sony Music should be placing hints at PlayStation games on the albums.

if i had a company you'd be head of marketing.
