I'd just like to say that my parents own a local veterinary clinic and have actively avoided making over a certain amount because of the increase in taxes. If they did, they would end up with less money after everything was said and done. This results in them being able to afford to employ fewer people and limits the number of patients they can see, but when the alternative is going out of business...
