Nice, but lol thats supposed to be amazing ?

You judge a game's graphics by what console it's on...

Um no, thats what the owner of wii or ds only do.

i judge it comapred to everything in its market (handheld).

In that case, as a PC gamer, I will be laughing my ass off at everything your puny PS3 can produce in about a year. Quad core gaming is the future, not the Cell. Sorry!

Nah... that ain't it either...

This is pure conjecture at this point, but there are rumors of not two, not four, but 100-core CPUs on the horizon.

The reason is, at least for me, beatifully elegant: You have 100 cores that are nowhere near as powerful as the ones found on Core2Duos, but a) there's a hundred of them, and b) you have very good power consumption figures since only the cores you need are activated. As an example, for games you'd probably be using all the cores, but if you are just typing your forum posts via browser, that would utilize 1-2 cores (1-2%, as opposed to current Core2Duos that may be utilizing only 1/2 the number of cores, but it's also consuming 48% more energy than it really needs to).

Awesome power, while utilizing only the power you really need. Now that would really be the best of both worlds!
