Could you back that up with statistics? The 60s were a period of both economic prosperity and one of high drug use. If you'd like to prove that it's a fact, provide evidence.

You can go back much further than that... recreational drug use was a pass time of the rich and powerful throughout history, ever since the Greeks and the Romans, possibly before.
