Could you back that up with statistics? The 60s were a period of both economic prosperity and one of high drug use. If you'd like to prove that it's a fact, provide evidence.

economic prosperity itself doesn't bring peace of mind but also freedom.
US was involved in vietname war and cold war and also the regulations increasing.
ii didn't say its a fact but a trend.
take the FED out,the regulatory taxes out and fiat currency then people will have true freedom and prosperity.
