The Dead Island trailer was indeed satisfyingly awesome.
Best trailers in recent memory:
- Assassin's Creed 2: Announcement trailer.
- Halo 3:ODST: "We Are ODST".
- The Last of Us
- Dead Island
- Killzone 2: Announcement trailer *Boy, did they dissapoint me hard with the game though!*
- Halo 3 & 4 Announcement trailers, and the shorts Blomkamp made.
I may be missing a few. (And yes, I have a preference for CGI/live-action trailers/movies)
