I don't know why people are so worried about the graphics on a console.
Seriously... If you buy a console... You're buying low-end hardware. - Only so much they can pack into a box to sell for a couple hundred bucks, you're not buying a Super Computer, the Cell isn't the answer to all things in life.

Graphics processing benefits greatly from parallelism, guess what? The Cell isn't well suited to that task as it doesn't have enough cores, it is however well suited to overlay and frame buffer effects.

Plus the consoles can't do high levels of Anti-Aliasing, Anisotropic Filtering or stupidly large levels of Tessellation.
Heck a large chunk of games are rendering at sub-720P resolutions anyway then use a form of Morphological Anti-Aliasing on top of it because it's cheap (And not as good in my opinion!).
Then up-scaled.

Not to mention I have never been impressed by the textures in any console game, they always look blurry and low definition. On the PC you can get mods for allot of games which feature 2048x2048 textures that look simply amazing, especially at a resolution such as 5760x1200 that I run at.

Console games are good for just sitting on the couch and gaming away without stress, if you're that worried about graphics... Get a PC with Dual-graphics and an Eyefinity set-up.
