That video really is going to get perpetually posted, I suspect... And yeah, the PS Eye probably wouldn't be able to do it nearly as well, as it's designed to be a regular camera more than an IR camera. Even if it could, it wouldn't be nearly as practical to feature games using head tracking for the PS Eye, as the PS Eye has a much much smaller user base than the Wiimote. The need for 2 Wiimotes is not a big deal at all; given the popularity of Wii Play, and the imminent release of Smash Brothers (a multiplayer game at heart), a great deal of players either have or will have 2 Wiimotes. And really, how many "normal" gamers would pay $70 more to get a PS Eye just to do head tracking? Compared to $40 for an extra Wiimote that will definitely find lots of other uses? Much less likely, no matter how well the head tracking is done.
