Not this tired crap again! Do you follow me around? Seriously, don't derail this thread too. That's just not true, I recall that thread and I did show multiple times where a PS3 exclusive was announced over 2 years before release (GT5, Killzone 2, Last Guardian, GOW3, Heavy Rain, etc), where for MS it was a 1 time thing (Alan Wake) which wasn't developed my a MS first party studio. Often times MS announces a big exclusive the year of launch (Forza 3 was announced a mere 4/5 months before release). Nintendo is the same too, Of the games Nintendo has released recently, or are upcoming, what was known over 2 years before launch (XenoBlade doesn't count because it did release in 2008, they just took their sweet time porting it). Kid Icarus is releasing in spring, so it has a 2 year announce to launch date. Heck, Wii U comes out in 10 months and other then Pikmin 3 and Smash Bros, no title has been confirmed to be in development for Wii U, let alone been officially announced |
uhm.....no. Just no. Sony has tremendous no. of games releasing. Its obvious they will have more in delays than others. Even then, lets take a look:
Last of us is dev by naughty dog. Naughty dog has already made a fantastic engine. So their work is half done for them. They have never delayed a game this gen. Already released two games this gen.
Its pretty obvious last of us is not going to be releasing more than two years from now. Its releasing on the ps3 after all.
Even killzone 3 was released on time. Every game delayed was announced at the beginning of the PS3 gen.
Also splinter cell conviction was delayed as well.
