#21 Ratchet & Clank Future: A crack in time played on PS3, released 2009
This quickly became my favorite Ratchet and Clank game. As always the presentation and art style are top notch. The humor is great and the game never takes itself too seriously.
I love the newly added 'record yourself' puzzles. First seen in Braid, but now taken to the next level with upto 4 versions of yourself coordinating together to solve a puzzle. I only wish there were more extra challenges after you finish the game. Those extra puzzles were great to solve.
The other thing I really love is flying around the different star systems and explore all the little planets. A perfect marriage of Windwakers' sailing and super mario galaxies' platforming.
Combat is fun as always due to the huge diversity in weapons. Arena challenges are hectic as they should be, hoverboard sections are fun, and the musical score adds greatly to the overall feel of the game.
My favorite action platformer this generation.
