Have to wait until we see some sort of list then. Its good for Sony (in terms of profit), but if the list isn't solid - this will generate heaps of bad publicity, and bite them in the butt. Another theory - this way they keep people buying PS2's for longer (if they want to play PS2 games). I would hope that the software solution supports at least GTA(s). God of Ware II/II, Singstar, etc. Those vector units in the PS2 can get pretty complex - simulating the exact timing in software is no easy feat.
