Right, this is not the norm at the moment.
The more the consumer want meet at a lower price, the more situations like in the movie becoming the norm.
Think twice what you are willing to pay / not to pay for meet.
Meet was alway a luxury good (and meet in good quality still is)- because of factory farming most people forgot this.
The lion only kills other animals, because it needs to do it to survive - modern civilisations kill animals to satisfy a necessity, not a exigency.
