Good ol' propaganda.
My uncles cows eat better than I do (molasses, grain, and corn) and are killed instantly with that pneumatic gun thing they showed, the same thing used in No County for Old Men.
This stuff happens and when big companies find out they drop them. Peta tried to make KFC look bad a few years back and posted a video like this. KFC dropped the slaughter house and the story ended.
