It isn't reading comprehension at fault. I'm just bypassing the argument by saying, "where else do you even get the option".
Nowhere. So why are people complaining? Think of it this way. The identity of your system is tied to your mem card. You pull that out, and it's a blank machine. That's fucking cool if you ask me. Nowhere else do you get that option.
And the complaint about having to buy two copies of a game?
You have a ps3 with mutiple accounts. You download on one, share to the other, download both accounts to different mem cards. No buying two versions! Then you have the US/Japan, or EU/Japan, US/EU etc etc.
And please, people complained when they were limited to how many copies of a game they could share. Seriously. I can't permanetly give copies of my downloaded games to my friends for free. Fuck Sony!
I think the only real point here is that the cards are expensive. 50$ is quite a bit. But youknow what, I'm not uncormfortable with my friends playing with my portables. And if I was, I'd probably already be of the mindset that my hangups cost me money in hand sanitizer, plastic wrap for my couch for when friends come over, buying a second bottle of coke in case a friend wants a sip of mine. :D
