The PS3 doesnt have ads like these all over the place so I find Selnors "everything" to be quite true.

Just accept that a few people don't like it that much >_>..

Yeah but the PS3 isnt 21st century ready. Didnt you know that?

I couldnt care less if people do or dont ike the new dash. But using ads as a reason is ssd considering Android, Iphone and pretty muc everything else is way worse than XBD. XBD has  couple ads here and there. relevant ones to. UNlike my wifes Android phone. Now that is a reason to complain about adverts.

Sad?

The majority of the population hate it when they see a movie that it gets disturbed by commercials...

The majority of the comic readers hate pages getting lost thx to advertisements

The majority of the internetsurfers hate it when they have to see a commercial before the video starts....

Vgchartz had hundred of threads about people complaining about the ads...

Having advertisements is in every demographics something negative......that you see it is not an issue and try it spin it in something positive is sad...

That you have to compare an console wiht an android and other not related stuff and don't compare it with related stuff like the Wii or PS3 is sad....

but what is more sad...if the PS3 was the victim and got advertisments you would have said with a smile  'I glady pay 60 bucks a year for Xbox live to not see advertisments lol'   ....THAT IS SAD...

Funny I cant recall one instance where the 360 dashboard forced me to watch an advertisement before I got to what I wanted to look at/play.

Don't worry at this rate it will not take long..

Really though that's just not going to happen not now or in the future.

Don't get me wrong intrusive ads are annoying as hell and I don't think we should have ads if we are paying for XBL. I hate all the ads on TV, Hulu, some on internet sites.

But with that said the ads on XBL have never been intrusive or annoying, especially with this new update. All they have is one small section at the bottom of each main area (home, Video, games, music and apps) and I'm looking at those right now and most of them are about games. So I really don't see a huge problem here.
