Another fellow I like is a halfling rogue called Tomi Undergallows from Neverwinter Nights. After being resurrected:

"There was this bright light, and my mother was there. Then it was like "YOINK! NOT YET STUPID!" and then I was back here. Weird, huh?"

That being said, Leonardo wasn't a major character. He just made random inventions that helped Ezio advance in the story. Otherwise, he didn't do too much.
