That's not the only extra thing you get.
The bonuses for FFXIII owners keep on increasing. Now Toriyama says that if you have FFXIII save data (it doesn't have to be clear data, just save data), you'll get special monster decorations. Additionally, you'll get higher success rates in the game's casino area. The title screen will also have some sort of bonus.

And there are more bonuses, I'm not sure what you really expect.
And everyone needs to get over DLC, every developer does it from the great ones to the crappy ones. SE will do it and nothing is going to stop DLC from this generation forwards, it sucks, but you all suck for not buying Xenoblade in droves anyway.
As for the review, I have never heard of Dengeki, for all we know it is a blog of some sort. I will wait for Western reviews or even Famitsu.
