I don't like Sony's direction, nor did I like the way Sony shafted video gamers and focused on HD. What's really bad is - folks continue to buy PS3 without doing any real research. I am not talking about folks who do the math, like the games and the like. I am talking about folks who will toss down their Visa and pick it up - and don't have a real reason to. |
It took 8 replies before the first fanboy post came, a VGchartz record
And all that coming from someone who already owns a console capable of hd and who pays for online play. Talk about slapping your visa around.
The original post is meh, it looks like the poster has the need to blame someone for games or company directions he doesn't like. With that narrow minded approach he missed out on a lot and is now trying to glorify himself as someone who has been cured of his flawed behaviour. He would have had an easier time being openminded in the first place.
Diversity is a part of any market and plays a huge factor in the gaming industry. Just be glad you have got enough examples of what you don't like to underline the things you do like in the industry.
I for example always thought of Mario as being a bigger gay symbol then the village people (Gazz puts on anti flame suit), but I don't go around trying to persuade people to my point of view. Many people are extremely content with that little guy with mustache and gardenpants and I am fine with that. Perhaps it will be easier on you to just celebrate the differences in the market instead of critizing them.
