Yes, the regular blank PS3 version of Skyrim just like Oblivion can easily dip downwards to 20 fps during intense fights. Not a problem for me. Many other games dip significantly below 30 fps and this is a fairly slow RPG, not a shooter.

My save file is now 7.3 MB with 70 hours of gameplay and I've just started to get some stuttering but nothing that is close to unplayable.

Wait, when did you start buying multiplatform games on PS3? Is your 360 broken or something?
