This is the problem with any news about the Xbox 360, it's completely misunderstood. It isn't as if a person is require to be a rocket scientist in order to understand quantum physics. It's just quantum mechanics, not the string theory.
Quantum Decoherence, what in reality a QSoD is, is initially represented by a decrease in accuracy. Eventually that inaccuracy results in a a destabilization of the subatomic particles used in the Xenon processor, anyons. These particles begin to interact with its environment in a thermodynamically impossible way...
