Apparently he heard the song from TV Olympics coverage that used it, and liked it a lot.  In a debate he attributed the lyrics to "a poet", and people soon found out the poet was from "Pokemon the Movie 2000".  But he'd already committed to liking the quote so he apparently didn't care. 

A quote from a Pokemon movie, and a tax plan from Sim City...

makes you wonder if Herman Cain is a closet nerd.

Would explain all the sexual harrassment, i mean have you ever played a multiplayer game when a woman came on the server?
