1. I don't know if the guy will be worse that Sylar, when Peter was talking to the Black man in the past I thought that possibly it would be him that she is referring too. Sylar isn't dead either, you see his blood going down the drain, so really everything that happened in this entire series was moot because it didn't turn out like it was supposed it. I thought the ending was crappy, un-thought out and overall very un-inspiring. 2. I think the end is supposed to imply that Nathan / Peter is dead, however Peter has the power of regeneration and he survived exploding once before (the future Peter caused the explosion and was still alive). I think that Nathan IS perhaps dead and they tried to make it emotional because of that... are they meant to be saying that BOTH Peter and Nathan dead? Or did Nathan sacrifice himself to save Peter by flying up knowing that he would survive and re-gen? If any of that above doesn't make sense then who cares, because honestly I find it a massive hole in the story that Nathan came in and flew him away, Peter should have been shot... if both of them had to die, why couldn't they have just shot Peter and then Nathan gets to live? If the next series doesn't have Peter (ie; Peter is dead) I will be seriously pissed off and probably stop watching because that is completely pointless, the only thing I can legitimately understand or comprehend is that Nathan sacrificed himself to save Peter... which is whack as fuk anyway because he can survive and re-generate anyway.... just massive holes. 3. When you say coincidence do you mean Hiro tried to go there or did he just try to escape anywhere and end there? I say it was an accidental mistake, but he will be trained even more than he currently is in the past to become an awesome Samurai warrior... that's just what I think, what's the point of showing him going that far back in the past? Hiro is my favourite character, but they haven't embellished on his powers enough, I wanna see more time stopped with explosions and bullets and stuff like that, or slowing time right down so that the other person is still moving but he is able to move ultra super rediculously fast. 4. It depends how many new characters and cool powers they can have... I liken this to a dulled down X-Men cartoon for myself, and I will keep interested as long as they have enough 'cool' stuff. That's what hooked me at the start, and I just want them to keep coming up and showing 'cool' powers and ideas (Sylar powering up and stealing heaps of powers was awesome - but he didn't use all of them very often).
