CliffyB is a great designer and some of these ideas are pretty cool. But since a ton of 360 owners don't own Kinect hybrid games still have to be made for 360 with some features tacked on for Kinect. You can't make a true hybrid experiance because you'd be alienating your base. I think with the Nex-Box this will change because every Xbox purchase will have Kinect and then every single game can feature Kinect based controls.
But right now it just isn't feasable to make all the games with Kinect capabilities its a waste of time and resources and likely won't improve the software much. Also while I like the idea of playing Skyrim with hybrid controls I would get a little tired of playing with my controller then suddenly having to cast a spell or use some other device with motion controls. Mixing them up would get tiring and annoying.
I think voice controls could work amazing with the classic controller as we saw UbiSoft do with EndWar maybe with slightly more classic controls then EndWar but they have the right idea. Mixing in motion controls that involve taking your hands off the controller might not be the best idea. Maybe leaning forward and from side to side could be implemented in hybrid games that would work very good. But I can't see swinging your arms while trying to play a game with a classic controller.
