Sony innovated with great new ip that no other publisher could match, and they finally got there 7 yr. venter on motion control's right but it was to late. MS came to the plate hard and even though I still believe that live is just as good as PSN. it's impossible to take away or not acknowledge there changes to the industry MS brought with them. Wii a new way to play? Yes,. Innovative? No. changed the industry yet again. You bet your sweet ass! With Mario Galaxy and every core title Ninty published they managed make those ip fill fresh and new and we'll likely see a repeat when Wiiu launches in 2012. Developer's Irrational games: Bioshock was a major change of pace and I'm sure infinite will be nothing short of a thrill ride when released in 2012. All Sony studios and exclusive Dev. teams except Zipper interactive. From UC to LBP near everything published by Sony had some form of innovation in it and Journey thatgamecompany will be another testament to Sony's growing list of creative dev. teams. Small Indie dev's. need i say more? Epic games/People can fly: Bulletstorm and GEARS imo are hard games to top and continues the innovation seen this gen. Valve: Who knew a game could be a college course? Damn sure not me. L4D is another one of those addictive shooters that you just can't put down, and will keep you playing for yr.'s to come and well after release. Pyramid, SCE Japan Studio: Patapon looked like so much fun and then some. I hope this team can continue its award winning work. And that should do it. |
Although Zipper may have failed a little bit with SOCOM 4, I think they did something right with MAG. It was definitely a very fun game to play, and the 256 player mode was extremely fun.
