That teal/cyan vita is pretty. I will probably pick up a vita whenever it gets "jail broken" I want one, and I know the emulation ability and homebrew will be pretty awesome. That and the homebrew carts (if there are any) will probably support microsd so I don't have to buy the over priced memory cards. Also, the fact it is region free is exciting. Not sure why Nintendo made the 3DS region locked, quite upsetting to be honest. Also, I'm not one to pirate games, I just want to "jail break" the PS Vita so I can run all my N64 games on a mobile handheld and other homebrew, while still buying the actual Vita games. Anyone else getting a Vita and a 3ds?

I have a 3DS and will be buying a Vita, but I'm having buyer's remorse for buying early (quite happy with it now that Mario and Zelda are out with Mario Kart around the corner).

I won't be buying Vita at launch because the cost of the system + memory cards is prohibitively high for me... especially since I am likely to want to buy a large portion of games digitally. I'm also annoyed with the need to repurchase PSP games that I've already paid for, the battery life, and the lack of PSN classics support.  I'm excited about the hardware, but not the launch games except for Gravity Daze. One thing that always bothered me on the PSP is Sony never puts first string development teams on handheld development, and they're repeating this with the Vita, using B and C teams to make spinoffs of their franchises.

Because of these factors I'll probably try to wait for the first hardware revision, which ideally will have onboard memory, better battery life, and possibly even a price cut. Hopefully 3rd parties will have filled out the library with more variety of AAA titles by then (or Sony themselves will), because the spinoffs from Sony mean little to me and I'm not going to buy console ports which I can play on my PS3 anyway. I'm definitely getting one at some point though.
