It does look good on PC (playing it with config file adjusted maximums myself) but not massively different from console apart from resolution and frame rate - imagine playing Skyrim with CoD level smoothness basically.

The problem with Skyrim on PC (although depending on your point of view it's not a problem) is that it is running on what is clearly a Directx9 engine (so far as I can tell) in line with 360/PS3, and while it looks better on PC it can't support any DX10 or DX11 goodness.

The best thing about Skyrim on PC isn't really the graphics improvement anyway (since it isn't that much) but the mods, which are already separating it from console and over time will certainly make it almost a different game.

If you really want to show of your PC (graphically) you need Battlefield 3 or any similar game pushing DX11 effects.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
