I love Best Buy, too... in America. Never went to one, here (despite living near their flagship store).
I think Best Buy's biggest flaw, outside of marketing, was a failure to understand the differences in British retail. The highstreet is where people do their shopping, here. While retail parks are starting to develop, people mainly only use them if the stores are trusted brands, people won't drive out of town for a store that they have no idea about.
