If you line online gaming, shooters, and/or the Kinect stuff a lot, I can recommend it. Those are probably the three things that I least care about in gaming.

I bought it for some jRPGs back in the day and the fact that games like Mass Effect were exclusive. While I expected MS to eventually lose the jRPG battle to Sony, I didn't expect them to cut out of that market as fast as they did. Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey were two amazing games, so I am glad I got the console for those two. But I hardly use the thing now compared to the Wii and PS3.

There is the multiplat differences and 360 usually wins out. These days, the differences are so minute. Most won't notice one more FPS or 5 more pixels. It really comes down to the controller for that - which I prefer the PS3 controller due to a left hand defect that I have.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
