also marlowe is very uninteresting !  Well, that's down the individual I guess.  I liked her as a baddie and thought she had interesting implied depth, but I don't think they quite balanced her on-screen presence enough.  She needed a few more scenes with Sully/Nathan IMHO.  However the scene where she makes Nathan feel like a runaway kid again and undermines his whole character just with some choice, cutting words (and knowledge of his past) was very good.

My problem with having a woman as the boss baddie is, no boss baddie fight. She dies because Drake fails to save her life. Lame. Leaving Drake to fight the protege instead. Somewhat of an anti-climax.

It was kinda good that they weren't cold-blooded killers, like in the first 2 games. Marlowe doesn't want to kill anyone until she really starts to get pissed off at being thwarted again and again.

I do also agree that more sophisticated platforming is highly desireable. I think this game had the easiest platforming of the 3 so far. I wonder if the Vita game will be more platform-y. Still not gonna buy a Vita, but will be interesting to find out.

@JoeTheBro: Blue Toad Murder Files has good puzzles. But it is a solely puzzle game.

@Kowenicki: for the most part, I agree.
