My feelings are quite similar. I didn't like Oblivion at all, but all this Skyrim hype still got me samewhat interested. But I guess I still wouldn't really enjoy it, as real RPGs just don't seem to be my cup of tea.
But I guess sooner or later I will still buy it, because my girlfriend absolutely loves RPGs.
