I'm not sure if everyone has looked through the SSBB site much yet, but the biggest revelation of the "new" site is the music. By far. It's absolutely flabbergastingly amazingly mind blowing. Check out who is working on music for this game:

Tomoko Sasaki: NiGHTS music

Kenji Yamamoto: Super Metroid, Metroid Prime music

Yoko Shimomura: Kingdom Hearts music

Akihiro Honda: Metal Gear Solid music

Yuka Tsujiyoko: Fire Emblem music 

Yuzo Koshiro: ActRaiser, Streets of Rage music

Koji Kondo: Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda music

I actually am not a huge fan of Super Smash Brothers: I like it, don't love it. Regardless, it's hard not to be amazed at the number of high profile people making music for this game. Several musicians from Konami, Sega, and Square Enix are involved. They pulled people from everywhere. Has to be a gaming first, unless someone has another game with amount of collaboration.
