Hmm... I'd not like paying my 60 cent flea market find with a cash/credit card. Or get a toy out of a Gashapon machine without a coin. Or visit a temple (I live in Japan, btw) and leave my donation via online payment. Etc. Etc...
And think of all the beggars in the streets. They'd have to buy card terminals to ask people for their money.
Let's face it. Cash won't go anywhere any time soon, and those who think otherwise are... well... I don't want to use a harsh word, so think it up for yourself. :P
