PSN is free right now, and Live kills it every year in hours spent playing online. Available downloadable content is also much more active on Live.
Sony need to make money from PSN to keep up with the R&D of Live.
Dec 6th Live changes again,with so many features that the competition just doesnt have. An integrated search engine for a start.
my ps3 allowed me to do google searches from selected games from when i first got it in 2009 furthermore theres the full web broswer from which i can use any search engine i like
and with that dec 9th update comes cloud saving as a major feature, ps3 had that for months now
The Google search is nothing like 360 search intergration. And the brrowser thin is the same thing as a phone browser. Apps are btter designed and make use of the hardware its on. Which isthe root M$ is taking. I neverusemy phone browser. AndI wouldnt use a 360 browwser. I only use my PC internet for VGC, banking and youtube. I use my phone apps for everything else.

the rest of your reply is about using your phone for things unavailable on your 360 and as i said before i don't understand how phones became included you were doing a comparison between the 360 and ps3 which i replied to
Putting Kinect aside, the Bing search function doesnt just search online. It searches offline. You search for Batman it brngs up all th Batman games, soundtracks, films etc etc. Its designed as a app to make dashboard navigation literally unneeded.
As fo my phone analogy. Using PS3 browser is cumbersome. Yes I know it at least has one. But seriously neds updating. Lots oof pages dont load.
My point was apps designed for consoles are a much better idea. Lie M$ getting a 360 taylored Youtube app, Skype app, Last.FM app, ESPN app,Sky app, Twiter app so on so forth.
