Activision wants a subscription service to take advantage of their userbase in the same way that Blizzard does with WoW. Xbox users already pay for a subscription service to play their games online, PS3 users don't, that is the difference. Also, I just subconsciously moan about Xbox Live Gold because I object to being unable to play 1/2 of the game that I have paid for in many cases. Also I would rather use a service that works well for all well made games when I don't play online that much, and always complete SP first giving me extra time to wait for the issues to be ironed out |
