If you're a bit of a fanboy towards a console, nearing the end of this geneation, would you consider picking up the rival console for the best exclusives?

When I had a NES I was a 5/10 Nintendo fanboy

When I had a Megadrive I was a 6/10 Sega fanboy

When I had a PSOne I was a 8/10 Sony fanboy

When I had a PS2 I was a 9/10 Sony fanboy

When I had a Gamecube I was a 10/10 Nintendo fanboy

When I had a Xbox I was a 4/10 MS fanboy

When I had a Wii I was a 9/10 Nintendo fanboy

When I had a PS3 I was a 9/10 Sony fanboy

When I had a X360 I was a 7/10 MS fanboy


Wait, what was my point again... Oh yeah - being a fanboy is a fickle thing. It's not real. You 'die hard' fanboys will just as easily love the other consoles (except maybe Rol).

Also, you can be a fanboy of more than 1 console.

Right now I'm playing zero Nintendo games, but the Gamecube was just the greatest thing ever to me.

So (OT) yeah, I have done what the OP asks. Specifically, I did it when I bought the Xbox at the end of its life cycle. I played Halo,Halo2,Forza,Fable etc. etc. just to respect the console somewhat. And I have to say that Chronicles of Riddick looked WAAAAY too good for a last gen game
