PS3 will definetly have more exclusives because of more exclusives will be decided for JAPAN and SONY will announce above unnamed games and more.
I agree many of the games like you said,the last guardian and many of the above games won't matter much in HW but it builds up an exclusive catalog which is very important when a person goes to buy a consoles,they see which has more uniques aka exclusives.
PS3 will surely have more exclusives of all 3 as Ninty is concentrating on WiiU and SONY has alot studios that its purchased in recent years.MS has a lack of first party studios
360 is gonna see similar sales to a COD week when Halo 4 comes.
sure but that is just a week and PS3 will see them too when PS3 big exclusives come out so they cancel out each other and PS3 might just do more as it has more exclusives aka more exclusive release HW boost
plus the fact that on normal days PS3 sells more when there is no exclusives
and don't forget that HALO 4 will be the Sixth HALO in this generation and HALO popularity has gone down as 360 shooter fans now have COD which is a bigger brand
What makes you say PS3 is gonna have a price drop? It did this year, so i don't think it will the next year, but 360 definitely will.
I think so as PS3 is still very high priced,hell its priced as high as Wii when it launched at $250 and still been able to rack up so many sales
if you have followed PS3's price reduction and SONY's price cutting strategy,you will know that they could have cut $100 this year as they have reduced costs significantly with Die reduction,CPU and GPU size reduction,power supply and fan size reduction and PS3's expensive components like blu-ray's price dropping and still profit but they didn't as MS wasn't gonna make move
So they will make one next year to counter 360's pricecut
Also the fact that Next generation is started,what do you expect the PS3 to be priced at $250 with WiiU launching in $250-350 range.
both 360 and PS3 will have most probably only $50 price-cuts next year as they don't have to cut much to compete as they are both fine and if they want to continue PS3 and 360 till 2014-2015,they will need additional pricecuts even after next year.Both MS and SONY have said they want to continue their systems that long.Also the fact that they are a business who still wanna earn back profits,they don't think like fans just to beat each other out
MS has already achieved their target to get XBOX near the PLAYSTATION brand's sales.They doing anything may it be exclusives or price-cuts will not help them much more this generation.They will try to recoup as much loss and start preparing for next generation
Also if PS3 would not have lowered its price, 360 would have outsold it this year, it still can actually, but its unlikely.
360 is not gonna outsell the 3DS i think though. But it most likely is gonna outsell the PS3 in 2012.
what does that have to do with 360 vs PS3 2011 when this thread is about next years sales
nobody knows what would have happened as it would have been a totally different future if PS3 didn't have have a pricecut this year
