I mean the world would be nuts efficient but nuts people would want to rest this drug would stress peoples lives out and lead to much more depressing lifestyles. In the end people would be worked to death. Personally I suffered severly from Insomnia for 3 years. I couldn't sleep naturally and was able to stay awake for days to months at a time. Trust me it was not fun at all, I wished and prayed and longed for even a nights sleep. It really sucked and I can't see why anyone would want to take a drug so they could do that willingly! |
I imagine you still felt tired and had trouble concentrating and other negative effects of sleep deprivation? If you didn't have all that and always felt rested would you still think it was a big problem?
The brain still needs some time to 'reset' at night but if that process could be sped up I'm all for it. 1 or 2 hours and wake up all rested, yes please. Especially now we have to give round the clock care to a sick baby with a jealous 2 year vying for attention as well. Feeling tired, grumpy and having difficulty concentrating all the time due to sleep deprivation is not fun.
