The Occupy movement is just a ton of angry people with no answers and no clue how to fix things. They have no unified set of objectives, it started with one that Obama open an investigation. But as it spread it turned into a thousand up here in British Columbia I've heard its about the lack of low income housing or social services. How it got from the big corporations and top 1% to being about every single issue that faces impoverished people is beyond me.

It doesn't help that the supposed leaders of the Canadian movement were recently interviewed. They were asked "How would you describe yourselves" they all said Anarchists among them some said they were rebels. Well if you want your movement to do anything the last thing you want is to openly say your an anarchist.

I think the world is getting sick of them, the Occupy protestors are ruining peoples ability to protest.

Their are several good protests which happen each year. They have solid leadership that demand one to five or so goals. The protestors meet in large numbers demanding these goals. The Government often works with the leaders and implements small changes to accomodate a couple of those goals. The protestors disperse peacefully after those goals are met and they have accomplished something. These guys went out without clear leadership without any real goals without any idea of how to fix the Government's reliance on Wall Street. They basically just showed the world "We are angry".

In the future when groups with actual leadership and ideas start protesting, I could see the world thinking "OMG here's another group of angry people who will destroy property cause problems and have nothing to contribute" the Government will then crush these good protests and the people won't bat an eye lash because these Occupiers have ruined any ability for protests to be effective.
